AVAILABLE POSITIONS

The editorial staff will be responsible for conceiving and executing content for our web and print publications as it relates to the Dorisma editorial scope. This includes, but not limited to, fashion, beauty, wellness, and pop culture. Staff may also be assigned projects where they will need to research, interview, and write a piece covering a specific person, event, or item. The ideal candidate is fashion-minded, socially conscious, and aware of the pressing topics and issues surrounding today’s woman. Must also have a keen sense of language, grammar, and spelling. Prior journalism and/or blogging experience required. Writing samples will be requested.
Responsible for creating and posting branded content on Dorisma’s social media account. The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong competency in social media graphics and copywriting. Must have a creative eye and a love for social media. Experience in media planning apps such as HootSuite also a plus. Orlando Residents are highly preferred, remote candidates will be considered.
The photographer will be assigned projects to be featured in our print publications. Must have own equipment along with a fluent understanding of post-production software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Must live in Greater Orlando, Florida or be willing to travel to be considered.
The design staff will be able to focus on our digital or print scopes. Digital designers will focus on maintaining our web presence. The print designers will work collaboratively with the editors to design any current print issues. Must have a fluent understanding of the Adobe Suite, most specifically, Adobe InDesign.
Editors will be responsible for proof-reading submissions before they are published online, or in our printed publication. They will also be responsible for fact-checking materials.
